Bundung-based
team, Jola Kunda and Tallinding-base team Hannover FC became the latest teams
to book their places into the next stage of the Serekunda East Senegambia Real
Estate-sponsored knockout tournament following their respective wins over
Rangers FC and Falcons respectively.
Hannover
FC booked their place into the next round of the tournament after defeating
Abuko-base team, Falcons FC by a lone goal to nil in the earlier game played on
Wednesday.
Falcons
FC who were pitted as favourite of the encounter, has now been eliminated by
Hannover.
Elsewhere
in the late encounter on Wednesday, Serekunda-based team, Rangers FC got
eliminated by Jola Kunda 5-4 on post-match penalty shootout following a 1-1
draw in regulation time.
Rangers
FC opened the score-line through a penalty spot, while Jola Kunda equalised
with a fine finished shortly before going into the break.
In
the earlier knockout games played midweek, Macassa won Casa United 5-4 on
post-match penalty shootout following a 1-1 in the 90 minute.
Elsewhere,
Bijan Kerr defeated Blue Star 1-0 while Zurich also won Cannon 2-0.

FC progressed into the next round of the tournament after beating Late I Kunda
4-3 on post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regulation
time.
