As part of efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country, the Steve Trawally Foundation on Wednesday made a handsome donation of sanitary items to households in Bundung, where the founder Bubacarr Steve Trawally hails from.

The gesture, initiated by The Gambian international is designed to help some of the families in Bundung in the wake of the State of Public Emergency.

The donation saw the distribution of bags of rice, wash-hand basins and detergents to 72 households/compounds in Bundung.

“We reached out to them as we believe that they need help in terms of essential food commodities as movement is restricted. As we all know, this is bigger than anything else in our lives and it’s important that we do everything possible to stop the spread of covid-19,” founder of the foundation Bubacarr Trawally said.

He urged people to follow the safety precaution guidelines and to continue to washing or sanitizing their hands regularly with soap/alcohol-based rub.
