Steve Biko Duo Opt for the Challenge

Steve Bike's Skipper Assan Jatta and his teammate Modou Jatta vowed that they would strive extremely well to keep pushing forward in their attempt in ending their trophy drought by lifting the league title this season.

The duo expressed possibility of lifting the league title since gaining promotion to the country's top-flight football this year.

Despite enduring a poor start in the league, the duo are cognizant of the teams initial short fall and, thus, are putting all endeavours in achieving the club's ultra ego of winning the league this season. The players elated revealed to Pointsport, "We want to move on and focus on our games ahead on the pitch to allow us keep up the momentum".

The players admitted that lifting the league would be their greatest achievement in the club's history and therefore posited to fight for it all out in achieving their dream.

Despite an indifferent start by the Bakau giant killers, Biko now enjoying a fine form of run following a struggling start in the league.

In what appears to be an ear pleasing news for the revered coach Abdoulie Bojang and the team is the expected return of key players in the likes of mid-field maestro Mustapha Sarr, Abou Sallah and striker Kawsu Jatta from injury to boost the club's chances of a silver wear.

Assan Jatta alias Bierhoff, joined Biko in 1996 and has since established himself as one of the finest strikers in the country owing to his impressive offensive creativity.
