The Ministry of Youth and Sports through the National Sports Council recently presented football gear to the Sports Committee of Kissimajaw village in Jokadu.
The materials that included two set of jerseys, two footballs and a trophy, Pointsport can reveal, were presented to the committee by Abdul Aziz Titao Mendy, development officer of the National Sports Council, and Pa Suwareh Faye, assistant director at the department of Youth and Sports, on behalf of the Ministry.
The weekend presentation forms part of a series of other donations made by the country’s Youth and Sports Ministry intended to support football across the country.
The participating teams in the Kissimajaw Naweetan are: Pa Suwareh Faye FC, Titao FC, Governor FC, Edward Seckan FC, Fatou Gim Gaye FC.
