Gamtel to clash with GPA in FA Cup Final tomorrow

The defending FA and Super Cup champions Gamtel will clash with the 2009-2010 league champions, Gambia Ports Authority, in the annual Gambia Football Association (GFA) FA cup finals, billed for tomorrow Saturday 1st October 2011 at Banjul’s KG5 Mini Stadium.

Gamtel who thrashed Gambia Ports Authority 2-0 in the super cup finals last season, and also won the FA cup title last year, will be hoping for victory in order to retain the FA title for the second time in a row.

Gambia Ports Authority who lost to Gamtel 2-0 in the super cup final last season will come all out for revenge against Gamtel, after failing to retained their 2009-2010 GFA national Division One league crown.

Gamtel progressed to the FA cup final after beating Real De Banjul 1-0 in the semi final courtesy of a Modou Sarr 88th minute strike, while Gambia Ports Authority  advanced to the final following their 1-0 win over Armed Forces in the semi final courtesy of a Saloum Faal strike.
