The National Sports Council (NSC) has urged all sporting associations, federations and committees to regularise their status with the council latest 1 December 2015 or risks being dissolved.

A statement from the NSC said all those that previously applied but could not meet the requirements should apply again and those that did not apply at all to do so before the deadline.

The NSC warned that any association that fails to reguralise its status until after the due date, risks being dissolved and an interim committee put in place to run the affairs of the body.

In the statement, the NSC said the decision is in pursuance of its desire to ensure that all national sporting associations, committees and federations are active and running in accordance with their constitutions.
