Mamodou Futty Danso was on the pitch for 90 minutes when the Portland Timbers beat Los Angeles Galaxy over the weekend to move to second in the Western Conference with last-gasp win over two-time defending MLS Cup champions.

A last-gasp goal from Andrew Jean-Baptiste gave the Portland Timbers a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Galaxy Saturday night in Portland to put the Timbers in sole possession of second place in the Western Conference and four points behind Real Salt Lake, goal.com reported.

In the other MLS matches compatriot Sanna Nyassi’s side lost after a goal and two assists from Thierry Henry helped the Red Bulls to a dominant 4-0 win against the Impact on a humid night in New York.

Abdoulie Mansally’s Real Salt Lake extended its lead in the Supporters Shield race and the quest for top seed in the West with a 3-0 win over FC Dallas in Frisco.
