The 2013
Super Nawetan champions Serrekunda West will host Banjul in the 2014 Premier
Games-sponsored Super Nawetan zonal football championship on 23 November 2014,
at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.
SK West clinched their first-ever Super Nawetan championshiptitle following their 1-0 win over 2012 Super Nawetan winners Brikama, in a keenly-contested finals played at the Independence Stadium last year.
They will be expecting a win against the City Boys to boost their hopes of making it to the quarter finals, and keeping their dreams of retaining their 2013 crown.
The City Boys have won the super nawetan zonal football championship several times, since it’s inception and will be fighting tooth and nail for victory, to improve their hopes of qualifying for the quarter finals, and winning the zonal football championship, after several years of a trophy drought.
Elsewhere, on Tuesday 25 November 2014, the 2012 Super Nawetan champions Brikama will entertain Gunjur in an all West Coast Region derby clash at the Brikama Box Bar mini stadium.
Brikama and Gunjur had shared the spoils in the 2012 and 2013 Super Nawetan zonal football championship.
Both sides will be coming all out for a win to grab the vital three points and keep their ambitions alive.
