Six-month-old baby in need of support for overseas treatment

Fatoumatta Bintou Okoro, a six-month-old baby is seeking support from the government, the private sector, parastatals, donors, NGOs, philanthropists and the general public to undergo medical treatment abroad.

According to the child’s medical report dated 9 December 2013, received from Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul, Fatoumatta Bintou Okoro has fever and cough, which has resulted in gradual enlargement of her head.

Mariama Sumbundou, the mother of Fatoumatta Bintou Okoro, said the enlargement of the head of her daughter started three months ago and she did not have the financial muscle to take her daughter abroad for treatment.
