Silky Crise to drop mix tape today

Gambian artiste Christopher Williams, alias Silky Crise, has completed all preparations to drop a 16-track mix tape today at the Alliance Francaise.

Born and brought up in Latrikunda, Silky Crise is also making name for The Gambian music industry.

The same show will take place on 2 November at Brikama Jet 7.

The upcoming star, who graduated from the Gambia Senior Secondary School, entered into the music industry in 2011 and has since gained popularity because of the sound and enthralling music he gives to his fans and, by extension, to humanity.

Silky and his team sponsored 75% of the show. He also praised and thanked other sponsors of the show such as Africell, West Coast, Kora FM, and Paradise FM, for their support.

The launching of the mix tape, titled the ‘Words of truth’, is expected to be  witnessed and graced with live performance by top Gambian artistes such as T Smallz, Jalimadi, Killa Ace, Cess Ngum, Og Lo, ST, ENC, Humanity starz, Keurgi Family, Dro Killer, Jizzle, Mandingmory, Artenola and Benjamin.

Silky and his team are calling on fans to come out in their  numbers to support him  as the type of music they will hear will showcase healing power, especially to the broken-hearted and the sick and troubled. It will also give joy to the joyless and happiness to the unhappy.

The team says the fans should expect massive explosion with superlative performance, one they will live to remember for eternity.
