Sheraton, one of the leading hotels in The Gambia on Sunday 11th May 2008 celebrated 'Mothers' Day.
Mothers' Day is celebrated every year all over the world as a way of recognising and appreciating the work, care and love of mothers.
In attendance, were The Point's Chief Layout and Web Manager and her children. It is a day that, for sure, will be unforgettable for her as it coincided with her birthday.
A grand buffet, which included a vast array of mouth watering choices, was organised and there was a live band to provide the entertainment for the delighted guests.
Also various types of games were organised for the attending kids, including Barnie, Tele Tubies and Mr Clown around to entertain the children.
"It was wonderful going through the modern, state-of-the-earth lift from the 3rd floor to the ground floor where the the pool bar is situated next to the beach. The view from the pool bar was a most uplifting experience.
Waiters and waitresses were everywhere to take care of the invited guests".
The occasion ran from noon to 6pm.
