There was another setback in the case involving women rights activists Dr. Isatou Touray, the Executive Director of Gamcotrap, and Amie Bojang –Sissoho, programme coordinator of the same organization at the Banjul magistrates’ Court before Principal magistrate Ade Taiwo Alagbe.
The two were alleged to have some time in 2009, in Banjul and diverse places in The Gambia, jointly stolen 30,000 Euros, being money provided by the YALOCAMBA SOLIDARIDAD of Spain.
The case was scheduled for yesterday, for the continuation of cross-examination of the fifth defence witness, but could not proceed.
The case was rescheduled to 8 August 2012, for hearing.
