Seaview FC defeated Armed Forces by a goal to nil in the Africell sponsored Eda Carr Pre-season Tournament on Monday 21st December 2009, at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.
Seaview FC opened the score through Pa Modou Ngum, alias Base in the 37th minute from a superb free kick to give his side a one-nil advantage at the end of the first period.
As action resumed in the second period of the game, Armed Forces who wanted an equaliser dominated the whole game but could not make the best use of their chances, and thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Seaview FC.
Seaview FC now collects 4 points from 2 games, while Armed Forces bagged 2 points from 3 encounters.
