Italian Serie A side AC Chievo Verona where Gambian footballer Ali Sow plays, on Sunday 7 July held their first training session of the season.
The former Gamtel footballer, who made his Serie A debut in May last season, appeared for the side twice.
In May he was said to have scored twice in the second team’s win over Palermo that allowed them to reach the last eight of their playoffs.
The team, following the squad’s presentation to the press and sponsors, made their way to the Bottagisio sports ground in Chievo for their first training session of the season, according to chievoverona.it.
Many Gialloblù supporters attended due to the fine weather and the well-organised circumstances.
Members of North Side 1994, Centro di Coordinamento Amici del ChievoVerona and Milano Clivense were awarded by Chairman Luca Campedelli for their efforts in helping Chievo win the Fair Play Gaetano Scirea trophy for being the best behaved fans in TIM Serie A following the training session.
Chievo finished 12th last season on the twenty-team Serie A league.
