Gambia’s senior national team, Scorpions are keen to triumph over Gabon in their up upcoming qualifiers in March to fancy their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification aspirations.

The Scorpions are currently leading group D of qualifiers with 4 points in two group games after their convincing 3-1 away win over Angola and 2-2 draw at home to Democratic Republic of Congo in November 2019.

Coach Tom Saintfiet will be hoping to maintain the squad that played against Democratic Republic of Congo for their match with Gabon.

Striker Assan Ceesay, winger Abdoulie Jallow and defender Ngine Faye Njie will all return to the squad after missing Democratic Republic of Congo clash.

The trio missed the tie against the Congolese after receiving yellow cards against Djibouti in the preliminary qualifiers and Angola in the qualifier proper.
