The
Gambia National team better known as the Scorpions have arrived in Accra,
Ghana, for a five-day training camp prior to their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifiers away to Benin on Sunday 11 June 2017, in Cotonou.
The
Scorpions are set to clash with Squirrels in the continent’s biggest football
gala qualifiers opener this weekend after missing the 2017 Africa Cup of
Nations hosted in Gabon.
The
Gambia will use the five-day training camp in Accra, Ghana to prepare
themselves fit enough and ready for
their all -West African derby clash with Benin for a place in the continent’s
biggest football fiesta to be hosted in Cameroon in 2019.
Coach
Sang Ndong and his charges will be fighting to win all their qualifier matches
to fancy their hopes of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after
failing to qualify for the 2017 edition in Gabon.
