league fund raising campaign have started after the town’s-based football club
gained automatic promotion to the country’s second tier last month.
Gunjur
United beat Greater Tomorrow 1-0 in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional third
division league final played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Saturday 20
May 2017 to gain automatic promotion to the second division league next season.

division.
The
management of Gunjur United Football Club are to embark on massive fund raising
campaign to raise enough funds for the Gunjur-based football club’s road to the
first division league fundraising campaign.
The
management of the club are also calling on all Gunjurians at home and abroad to
come out in their numbers to patronise the team in their quest to gain promotion
to the first division.
