This year the occasion, centred on the theme ‘Love and Care’, was organised to recognise and celebrate the successful completion of the nursery and kindergarten education for children in the ages of four to five.
Speaking at the ceremony, Anna Mbenga Cham, chairperson of the Parents-Teachers Association, said the day was a special one for the graduands who have made a breakthrough to the primary school.
The PTA chairperson thanked the parents, teachers and the school management for the transition, saying the bilingual school in English and French has so far registered success in its educational service delivery.
For his part, Judith Owiafe, deputy head teacher of SBEC, dilated on the activities of the year the school carried out.
“The school carried out several tours to visit various places such as the women’s garden in the Greater
Ms Owiafe challenged all to be committed to showing love and care for the kids. She also commended parents for choosing to enrol their children at SBEC, as well as the management and executives for their full cooperation and support.
