Savage Fires crucial win

Gambia international forward Demba Savage’s 80th minute header has helped Finnish giants secure a 2-0 win over JJK.

This latest goal is Savage’s eighth of the season and has landed him the fourth highest goal scorer so far in the league with twenty matches played.

Saturday’s home win gave the giants three important points to return to the top of the league table with a single point lead over Honka, www.hjk.fi reports.

“Tuesday’s earnings in Tallinn and all the rest, both physically and mentally, and, above all, the week has been really heavy. You could say that the team did a really strong comeback,” praises team coach Boström.
