Gambian international Sanna Nyassi has scored his club’s sixth goal in the United States Major League Soccer, in Montreal Impact’s 1-1 draw against Houston Dynamou on Saturday.

Nyassi’s equalizer was not enough to salvage Impact’s playoff plans, as the result officially eliminated Montreal from playoff contention, goal.com has revealed.

Houston in the 44th minute scored through Will Brui. The Impact equalizer came in the 67th minute, when Gambia international Sanna Nyassi ensured a clean finish.

The game, according to goal.com, was marred by emotion, which resulted in Impact coach Jesse Marsch being sent off  for protesting the lack of a penalty call for his team.

Houston‘s Brian Ching’s goal was rejected as an offside close to stoppage time, by the  match official.
