Samger
have dropped to red zone in the 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic
division one league after their recent poor run of form in the league.
The
Academy boys lost to Tallinding United 1-0 in their week-fourteen fixtures
played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium to drop bottom-place in the
country’s top flight league.
Samger
will be brawling to win their remaining league matches in the second round to
fancy their hopes of staying in the top flight next season and avoid relegation
to the second division despite their woeful performance in the league campaign.
Bombada
are also struggling in the red zone despite their 1-1 draw with third-place
Marimoo at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at the weekend.
