Rugby Association to stage festival

The Gambia Rugby Association will be hosting the Marget Medland Tag Rugby Festival on Saturday, 12 March at the Serekunda Lower Basic School.

Four schools, namely Bundung Lower Basic School, Bakau Lower Basic School, Serrekunda Lower Basic School and Old Yundum Lower Basic School, are expected to take part in the one-day festival, according Amadou Bayo, Ag-secretary of The Gambia Rugby Association.

The festival is geared towards promoting and raising awareness of Rugby in the country. It will set the pace for a Gambia Rugby Association School tagged Rugby League billed to start soon.
