Following their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Strikers FC a forthnight ago, Royal Bulls FC have bounced back into winning form in the Serrekunda Central Nawettan, after thrashing Anne FC 3-0 in a group A game played at the Serrekunda Central Football Field at the weekend.
Royal Bulls FC came into the game with a single point, and they need only a win to keep their hopes of reaching the next round of the Nawettan.
They dominated the ball possession, and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities.
Royal Bulls FC opened the tally through Nigerian international Chidi Nwani in the 11th minute of the game from a stunning strike to give his side the lead. Tijan Danso doubled Royal Bulls FC’s lead in the 55th minute of the game from a superb strike to put his side in the driving seat.
Nigerian international Chidi Nwani sealed the victory for Royal Bulls FC in the 84th minute of the game, to earn his side the maximum points at the expense of Anne FC.
Royal Bull have now climbed to 3rd position in group A with 4 points in three games, with two more games to play, while Anne FC dropped to 4th position with a single point in three outings.
Speaking to Pointsports, the manager of Royal Bulls FC, Ellis Antsroe, said the performance of his team was exceptional, adding that his target is to nurture and develop young talents who will contribute their quota to the national teams.
Antsroe expressed confidence that his team will snatch a victory in their two remaining matches and progress to the next round of the Nawettan, while thanking his players for their brilliant performance against Anne FC.
