Rongo A Traditional Musician Diva

The African Traditional singer, Rongo who could be described as a diamond in The Gambian Traditional song arena but a star in the world was born and brought up in Banjulinding in the western Region. He achieved his educational terrain of excellence in the school of Nature. He started his lyrics of songs that served a hot meal for people who gave ears to it and to the International audience. Rongo s music is like a numble of thanks and the cracking of lighting because of the rhythm and melodious tunes, he supplied to the listeners, tangled in a delicious knot of divine inspiration. Rongo also found the inspiration of that he bought to create his own unique style of music.

Speaking in an interview with this reporter recently, The African Traditional Musician explained that he did not train music, but instead he attended the school of music, but was quick to add that his talents of music Just came naturally that is from divine to his heart .He revealed that he produced four albums since he started playing music, adding that his specialization in the music is principally based on African cultural music. The albums he produced entitled Love yourself, Jikanon Aids, Unite Africaand Jolidino respectively. Rongo travelled far and wide in Europe, Africa and America. Rongo asserted that Gambian music is growing rapidly and in a fascinating pattern. He finally admonished the Gambian uprising stars to work hard and focus on their music as well as love and respect their carrier.
