In their effort at taking Gambian music to higher heights, Modou Sona and Masery Ceesay, young talented artistes, have promised to set record in The Gambia music industry as they continue to put into practice their God-given talents and skills.

Support, both morally and financially from within and outside, is however needed by the duo to reach higher heights in their music career.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment last Tuesday at the Point Offices, Modou Sona said they have been practising to be artistes since at tender age, adding that music is in their blood.

The young music stars have so far not released any album yet but have released two singles the first one called ‘Hero’ and the second ‘Don’t Give up’.

The rising stars told Entertainment they are busy putting finishing touches to their first album to have it released.

The two stars have been promoting their music also through their wonderful performances at various hotels across the country.

In the future, they say, they would like to get the standard of their music to the next level so it would be recognised by the outside world.
