City boys Real De Banjul on Wednesday defeated Telecommunication giants Gamtel 3-0 in their rescheduled Week 13 fixtures in the 2011-2012 Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
Real De Banjul, who are currently struggling in the league knowing that a defeat against Gamtel will put them on the relegation zone, came out for a victory and outplayed Gamtel throughout the game.
Real De Banjul’s goals were scored by striker Buba Jallow (alias Melez) in the 23rd minutes before Modou Njie-Sarr netted a brace in the 55th and 75th minute of the game to earn Real De Banjul the maximum points at the expense of Gamtel.
Real De Banjul and Gamtel have both collected 17 points in fourteen games.
