The Gambian female league Champions Red Scorpions will face fellow women side Makasutu of Brikama today in a test game at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
The test game is organised to raise funds for the team’s participation in an international tournament in Senegal.
Red Scorpions will use the friendly to prepare themselves ahead of an international women’s tournament in Senegal from 1 to 7 April 2013.
The tournament is expected to bring together teams from Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and The Gambia’s Red Scorpions.
It will serve as a sharpener for Makasutu who are getting ready for the 2012-2013 Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one women’s league later this year.
The gate fees for the game are D10 for the pavilions and D5 for standing.
