City rivals Real De Banjul, Wallidan and Hawks are hoping to recover in contention for the 2015-2016 First-Eco Partners-sponsored Gambia Football Federation division one league title when league matches resume this weekend.
All three did lose their week-two fixtures played last week with Gambia Armed Forces, Gambia Ports Authority and Gamtel.
Real De Banjul lost to Gambia Armed Forces 1-0 in their week-two fixtures played at the Banjul KG 5 Mini Stadium last Saturday.
Wallidan also lost to Gambia Ports Authority on the same score-line at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium last Sunday, and Hawks lost to the reigning league and super champions Gamtel 2-1 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on the same day.
As part of week-three fixtures, on Saturday 12 December 2015, Banjul United will welcome Serrekunda United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
Banjul United and Serrekunda United are currently struggling in the league standings with single points in two outings and both will be stalking to beat each other to grab the vital points in order to move away from the red zone.
Bombada will host Samger at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
Bombada and Samger are mid-table in the league with a point each in two games after drawing their two opening fixtures.
They will be racing to defeat each other to grab the maximum points in order to improve their position on the league table.
