The return leg will be hosted in Banjul by Real De Banjul in the weekend of 1, 2 and 3 March 2013.
The winner between Real De Banjul and FUS will meet the winner between US Douala of Cameroon and Liser of LBR in the round of sixteen, which will be played in the weekend of 15, 16 and 17 April 2013.
Clubs exempted from the preliminaries are TP Mazembe of (DRC), Merrihk of Sudan, Djoli of Mali, Hilal of Sudan, Stade of Mali and ES Setif of Algeria.
In a similar development, FA Cup champions Gamtel FC will in the same weekend of 15, 16 and 17 February 2013 host HLM of Senegal in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The return leg will be played in Senegal in the weekend of 1, 2 and 3 March 2013 with the winner to meet CSS of Tunisia in the round of sixteen.
