Rangers FC and Abuko United on Wednesday won their respective encounters in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Knockout trophy to advance to the last sixteen of the competition.
Rangers FC beat Bradford FC 4-3 on post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in the 3pm kickoff played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, to secure their place in the last sixteen.
Abuko United sailed to the last sixteen of the knockout competition thanks to a 2-1 win over Culture FC in the 5pm game played at the East Park.
Rangers FC and Abuko United have now joined the likes of Milan FC, Manchester United, BJ’s Academy, Jola Kunda FC, Medina FC, Milan Rossoneri FC, S.V Laar FC and B.B Rovers FC to qualify for a place in the last sixteen of the knockout competition.
