Ebrima Waggeh, the second prosecution witness (PW2), recently testified in the stealing case involving one Kemo Ceesay, at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Edward Singhateh.
Waggeh told the court that when he found the accused person, his elder sister and the Alkalo of Kunkujang Keita Yaa at the police station, he was told the accused did not deliver all the money realised from the sale of the land to the owners.
PW2 further told the court he purchased the land for D300,000, adding that the accused told him he (the witness) should not let the alkalo know he had purchased the land for D300,000.
He said he was asked to tell the alkalo that he purchased the said land for D280,000, so that the alkalo would not get the 30% commission but would have 28% commission.
He added that he purchased the land for D300,000 and he made a statement to the police.
