Prosecution witness summoned

One Kebba Jallow, believed to be the complainant in an alleged theft case involving one Amadou Bah, was on 13 July 2010 summoned by the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Tabally.

When the case was called, Cadet Inspector Touray rose and applied for a subpoena to be issued to Kebba Jallow, a resident of Fajara M-Section.

Subsequently, the trial magistrate granted the application made by the prosecuting officer and ordered that a summon be issued to the witness to come and give evidence in the trial. 

The case was then adjourned till 19 July 2011.

According to the charges, the accused, Amadou Bah, on 13 June 2011, at Ozio Bar in Fajara, stole a laptop marked Lenovo, valued at D18,000, the property of one Kebba Jallow.
