A man called Omar Secka was recently arraigned before Magistrate Clement Ngube of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing from a person.
The alleged offence indicated that on 5 July 2011, at Serrekunda Super Bird, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Omar Secka, stole from one Ebrima Badjie a mobile phone marked Samsung valued at D4,500, the property of the said Ebrima Badjie.
Secka denied the charge and was granted court bail of D6,000 with a Gambian surety.
The case was then adjourned till 19 July 2011.
