In the last few days since news of the visit broke, the Nigerian community, alongside the High Commission in Banjul, went into a frenzy stepping up preparations for a grand welcome for Jonathan who is on his first visit to The Gambia.
Nigeria is perhaps The Gambia’s biggest post independence ally in her development programmes, with a long history of cooperation in the judicial, academic and military fields.
