Peter’s Pencil, a UK charity which supports sports education in The Gambia through donation of tuition materials among other things, recently donated football kits to the GTech football academy at their Senegambia Spy Bar football field base
In short presentation speech, Lynn, head of the charity, said she was impressed with the good organization of the GTech academy and its programmes to bring hope to the young people through football.
In receiving the items, the academy director, Ken, thanked Lynn and her companion for the donations, promising that the football kits would go a long way in the development of talent of the young kits at the academy.
He said the objective of GTech is to provide opportunity to all Gambians and, by extension, African youths to develop skills in football.
“That is why we used a slogan catch them young and with assistance such as yours we could together come together to realize that objective,” Ken said.
