Pa Omar Jack of Fish and Chips fame is increasingly getting many steps ahead and has completed all preparations to release another album on May 24.
The album which contains six tracks is entitled "Gambia Forward" and is expected to hit the market as soon as its released. Pa Omar Jack has now become a fully-fledged music star, and is probably Gambia's Youssou Ndour. He is said to get his inspiration from the Senegalese mbalax superstar Youssou Ndour and his Gambian-born uncle Mass Lowe. Pa Omar Jack got catapulted into the music arena in 1996, shortly after leaving the classroom. The Banjul-groomed rising artiste recorded his songs in 1997 with the assistance of Kebba Taylor, a Gambian guitarist born to Super Eagle keyboard star player Kunon Jarjutay.
In a chat with Entertainment recently, Pa Omar Jack said he will release his six-track album on the 25th of May to coincide with the President's birthday.
"This is my third album since I started music." He added that the album will be launched on the 6th of June 2010 but the launching venue is yet to be confirmed. Pa Omar Jack went on to thank his sponsors particularly the main sponsor, Africell.
