The 15-tracks mix tape entitled “YEKSI REK NEKA” is expected to bring large crowds and some Gambian artistes on stage.
The launching of the album is proudly supported by The Block Entertainment.
Speaking to journalists at a press conference held at Alliance Francaise, Mohawk known as Rap Khalifa, CEO of Block Entertainment, thanked all those who attended the press conference, adding that the purpose was to inform journalists about the launching of OG LOC mix-tape come Saturday 15 November 2014, at the Alliance Francaise.
The CEO Block Entertainment commended OG LOC for his efforts in working with Block Entertainment for some time now.
OG LOC was with the Block Entertainment since they started working with him, Mohawk said.
The Block Entertainment was just like an institution, he added, noting that the reason why the Block Entertainment was established was to develop artistes and take them to the international level.
Mohawk added that their aim is to sell the Gambian artistes to the international world, and that he just finished a technology course in the UK and wants to use that knowledge to develop the profession.
OG LOC who is the brains behind the event told journalists that the album will have both video and print copies, while commending the officials of The Block Entertainment for supporting him since the start up to now.
He added that the mix-tape is going to be semi-life and, therefore, thanked everybody and called for their support.
“We are calling people in their large numbers to come and witness the day and enjoy themselves,” he declared.
