Nema Borehole FC have defeated Dangam FC of Busumbala Village 5-4 on post-match penalty shootout to secure a place in the second round of the Brikama knockout championship, after a 1-1 draw in the regulation time at the Brikama Box Bar Mini-stadium at the weekend.
Dangam FC opened the scoring through striker Modou Ndow in the 75th minute of the game from penalty spot before Lamin Jobarteh levelled the score in the dying minute of the game from a close range strike.
This pushed the game into a post-match penalty shootout that ended 5-4 in favour of Nema Borehole at the expense of Dangam, who will now concentrate on the league.
