The Point has learnt through impeccable sources that Mr Benedict Jammeh, Executive Director of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) has been removed from his position yesterday afternoon.
According to the same sources, Mr Samba Gajigo, former Administrative Secretary of the ruling APRC party has been appointed as the new acting Executive Director of the NDEA with effect from yesterday.
When contacted, Samba Gajigo confirmed his appointment to The Point.
