The National Water and Electricity Company LTD (NAWEC) has disclosed that with effect from 1 February 2015 all its tariffs on water and electricity consumption and sewerage will be increased.
The increment, which is within the range of 1 to 2 per cent, will affect all sectors covering domestic, commercial, hotels, clubs, industries, agriculture, area councils, and central government.
A press release by Nawec states: “NAWEC wishes to inform its esteemed customers that with effect from 1st February 2015, the tariff for water and electricity consumption will be increased.”
According to the release, Nawec “assures the general public of an improved service delivery”.
“NAWEC wishes to take this opportunity to thank all its customers for their support and corporation,” the release concluded.
