The National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI), in partnership with Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), will today convene a forum to enable stakeholders validate the Gambia Cassava Development Strategy.
The strategy is designed to help transform cassava production in the country into an economic commercial-oriented sector contributing effectively towards the attainment of the Vision 2020 agenda as well as the Sustainable Development Goals.
The intervention being implemented by NARI is funded by the FAO and the day’s forum will be held at the Paradise Suites Hotel, according to the FAO.
