The defending champions, Bakau, will clash with Serrekunda West in the opening encounter at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.
Speaking to Pointsports, the second vice Bakau zonal sports committee, Mr Bakary B. Darboe, said Bakau are well prepared for the tournament especially their first match against Serrekunda West.
He disclosed that the team will do their level best to beat Serrekunda West in the opening match and prepare for their second match against Gunjur and their encounter against Sukuta.
He hailed President Jammeh for sponsoring the tournament which, he said, will go a long way in the promoting, improving and developing Gambian football.
For his part, the head coach of Serrekunda West Zonal team, Ousman Jammeh, said he that his side can beat Bakau this time around and advance to the next stage of the competition.
"We have the home advantage as we are playing at home. We will do everything to make sure that we collect all three points, but Bakau is not a small town in Gambian football and they have a lot of players for the U-17, U-20 and the senior national team," Mr. Jammeh concluded.
