Momodou Jang Jallow and Kumba Jallow were recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault and common assault.
The particulars of offence on count one stated that Momodou Jang Jallow, on 23 December 2011, at Brikama Nyambai, in the West Coast Region, assaulted one Ansumana Darboe, by stabbing him with a Knife.
Count two stated that Kumba Jallow, on the same date and place, assaulted the said Ansumana Darboe, by hitting him with torchlight.
Meanwhile, the accused persons were later cautioned and discharged following the prosecution’s application to withdraw the case, in respect of the complainant’s request.
