The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) on 19th June 2010 presented D43,000 to the winner of Monday's Quarte Jackpot, Modou Faal, a resident of Churchill's Town.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, GNL marketing assistant Malick B Sabally, who deputised for the marketing manager, Fabakary Jammeh, seized the opportunity to urge all their customers to continue patronising GNL.
He challenged customers to note that "even if they stake and lose they should know that they are contributing towards national development, and also helping in employment of youths."
He informed customers that a Pari-sportiff Jackpot of more than D158,200 has recently closed, but noted that there is another one in the pipeline that is worth more than D105,000.
