Marimoo trounce Interior to keep unbeaten run in 2nd tier

As Brufut Utd defeat Red Hawks to mount pressure on Marimoo

Marimoo on Friday beat Interior 1-0 in the week-four fixtures played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation second division.

Brufut United defeated Red Hawks on the same score-line at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to mount pressure on league leaders Marimoo with 10 points in four games.

But the Manjai Kunda-based outfit are leading the standings on goal difference.

The victory has earned the Manjai Kunda-based outfit top spot in the second division with 10 points in four games.

Tallinding United beat Bakau United 1-0 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Lamin United drew 1-1 with Immigration at the Brikama Mini Stadium, whilst Young Africans drew goalless with Lions of Banjul at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
