According to a press release sent to the Pointsports by the British High Commission in Banjul, The Gambia will be sending four athletes to compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games and these athletes will be at the UK High Commissioner’s Residence as part of a send-off reception meant to wish them farewell and good luck to the event.
The reception will take place at 18:00 in Cape Point.
The Gambia will also be fielding a team to the London 2012 Paralympics Games with Gambian athletes.
