This was after Mustapha Tinn admitted to the charge of contempt of court.
He, however, denied the charge of common assault.
The charge sheet read in court stated that on 23 June 2015, at the Kanifing Municipality, he assaulted one Tijan Baldeh, a staff of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, all over his body, when he was ordered to leave the registrar’s office of the said court, and insisted not to leave by acting with violence and being abusive while courts were in session, for which he stood charged with contempt of court.
The case was adjourned to 2 July 2015, for hearing of the common assault charge.
