A man was recently arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with common assault, assaulting causing actual bodily harm and threatening violence.
Babucarr Bajo denied the charges and the case was adjourned till 28 November 2011.
However, the accused was granted a court bail of D1,000 with one Gambian surety.
According to count one, Babucarr Bajo, on 4 October 2011, at Manjai Kunda, in the
Count two stated that on the same date and at the same place, he assaulted Amie Taal on her left hand and mouth, causing her actual bodily harm.
And count three stated that on the same date and at the same place, he threatened to intimidate, insult or annoy the said Amie Taal and thereby committed an offence.
