One Malick Mbowe was on 5 October 2011 brought before Magistrate Ngube of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with housebreaking.
He denied the charge and the case was adjourned till 18 October 2011.
Meanwhile, he was granted a court bail of D1, 000.
Mbowe, however, told the court that he left the bar unconscious and got himself into a wrong place, where he was caught by the compound head and taken to the police station.
According to the particulars of the offence, Malick Mbowe, on 26 September 2011, at Dippakunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, broke and entered into the house of one Buba Kuyateh with intent to commit a felony therein to wit - stealing.
