One Modou Saine was on 5 October 2011 arraigned before Magistrate Alagba of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with house breaking and stealing.
He denied the charges and the case was adjourned till 13 October 2011.
According to the charge sheet on count one, on 21 August 2011, at Old Jeshwang, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Modou Saine, broke and entered into the house of one Nancy Aminata Nyang with intent to commit a felony therein wit - stealing.
Count two stated that Saine stole two laptops marked Acer Asphare valued at D40,000, another laptop marked HP valued at D30,000 and a cash of D3,000, amounting to D73,000, the property of the said Nancy Aminata Nyang.
He was granted a court bail of D100, 000 with a Gambian surety with ID card.
